Professional Rust & Iron Oxide Removal Solution
CHEMFIX RUST REMOVER is a liquid chemical solution specially designed for the rapid removal of surface rust and iron oxide deposits from ferrous metal surfaces. It is suitable for iron, mild steel and other compatible metal components used in construction, fabrication, maintenance and workshop applications.
It helps prepare metal surfaces for subsequent primer, painting or protective coating applications and is suitable for both general maintenance and metal fabrication work.

Recommended Dosage / Contact Time
Use as supplied unless dilution is specifically recommended for the intended application.
Typical contact time is approximately 5–30 minutes, depending on:

Application Method
1. Surface Preparation
Remove loose dirt, grease, heavy rust scale and other contaminants from the metal surface.
2. Apply CHEMFIX RUST REMOVER
Apply evenly using a brush, cloth, spray or suitable immersion method.
3. Allow Contact Time
Allow sufficient contact time depending on the severity of rust, temperature and substrate condition.
4. Agitate if Required
For heavy rust, agitate or brush the affected area to assist rust removal.
5. Rinse / Neutralize
Rinse or neutralize the treated surface as appropriate for the formulation and intended application, then dry the surface thoroughly.
6. Apply Protective Coating
Apply a suitable primer or protective coating promptly after treatment to help reduce the possibility of flash rusting.
Compatibility & Precautions

CHEMFIX RUST REMOVER is an acidic formulation (typical pH 1.0–3.0). Appropriate precautions should therefore be followed during handling and application.
Wear suitable protective gloves.
Use appropriate eye and face protection.
Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes.
Ensure adequate ventilation during application.
Do not allow the product to remain on the surface longer than necessary.
Test compatibility on a small area before full-scale application.
