Application Method
Surface Preparation
Proper surface preparation is essential for coating performance.
1. Remove dust, dirt, loose paint, chalking materials, grease, and other contaminants.
2. Remove loose plaster and any weak or deteriorated coating.
3. Repair cracks, holes, and damaged plaster with a suitable repair material.
4. Identify and correct the source of water leakage or persistent dampness before application.
5. Ensure the surface is sufficiently dry and stable according to the product’s application requirements.
6. Apply a compatible primer or preparatory coating if required by the approved application system.
Application Method
1. Open the container and mix the material thoroughly until a uniform consistency is obtained.
2. Apply the coating using a suitable brush, roller, or other approved application equipment.
3. Apply the first coat evenly over the prepared surface.
4. Allow the first coat to dry sufficiently under the prevailing environmental conditions.
5. Apply the subsequent coat as recommended in the product’s technical data sheet.
6. Protect the freshly coated surface from rain, excessive moisture, dust, and contamination during the initial drying period.
Do not add water, solvents, or other additives unless specifically permitted by the manufacturer’s instructions.
A small trial application is recommended before full-scale use, particularly on previously painted or unusually damp surfaces.
